2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with STRATO.
Each time our website is accessed, the server automatically stores information transmitted by your browser in so-called log files. This includes:
- date and time of access
- page or file requested
- amount of data transferred and access status (e.g. file transferred, file not found)
- website from which the access was made (referrer URL)
- browser and operating system used
- IP address of the requesting computer
STRATO stores the full IP address temporarily and exclusively for the purpose of detecting and defending against attacks, and deletes it after seven days at the latest. In the log files made available to us as the operator of the website, the IP address is anonymised, so that we cannot draw any conclusions about your identity. These log files are deleted after six weeks.
This data is not combined with any other data sources. It is processed to provide the website technically and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website.
3. Cookies, analytics and tracking
This website does not use cookies. We do not use any analytics or tracking services and do not embed content from external providers (such as fonts, maps or videos). All components of the website are loaded from our own web space.

5. Contacting us by e-mail or phone
If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, e-mail address, phone number, company and the content of your enquiry) in order to handle your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or to pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations (in particular under commercial and tax law) prevent deletion.
6. Disclosure of data
We do not pass your personal data on to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so. The only exception is our hosting provider STRATO, which processes data exclusively on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions (see section 2). No data is transferred to countries outside the European Union.
7. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods. The data is then deleted.

To exercise your rights, an informal message to the contact details given in section 1 is sufficient.
